PHONEM Festival

PHONEM (formerly Zwei Tage Zeit) is Zurich’s international festival dedicated to improvised and cross-disciplinary music. Bringing together artists from Switzerland and abroad, the festival explores improvisation across a wide range of contexts — from music and dance to film, spatial installations and beyond — celebrating the richness and diversity of the improvisational practice.

No Ordinary Festival of experimental sounds

It is produced and organised by the Non-profit Organisation AdhocArts, in partnership with Transcendance-art Space. The Festival’s first edition was held in September 2022 in Thessaloniki. NOF presents concerts in the broader spectrum of experimental music featuring genres such as free improvisation, ambient, electro-acoustic, noise and avant-garde and is based on the concept of ad hoc meeting between musicians.
